Sydney Harbour Sydney Harbour is an amazing place and is one of the most beautiful harbours in the world. If you catch the train to Circular Quay, you will be able to see our famous Sydney Harbour Bridge and the Sydney Opera House. If you are old enough, you can even climb to the top of the Harbour Bridge and enjoy the incredible view. You could also catch a ferry to Luna Park or Taronga Zoo where you can see our native animals as well as many from around the world while enjoying our beautiful harbour. Other Places in Sydney to Visit Sydney has an awesome Aquarium and Wildlife Park in Darling Harbour. In Darling Harbour you can also visit the Chinese Gardens or the Maritime Museum. In the City you can also visit the Botanical Gardens and Sydney Tower, where you can see an incredible view of almost all of Sydney. | Beaches Although we don't think Bondi Beach is the nicest beach in Sydney, it is definitely the most famous. Sydney is on the east coast of Australia, and so has many stunning beaches, and there are some that are even better if you travel north or south of Sydney. Hyams Beach, south of Sydney, has the whitest sand in the world. Blue Mountains About a two hour drive from Sydney is the beautiful Blue Mountains. They are called that because from far away they look blue. There is a rock formation called the Three Sisters and you can go on the Scenic Railway that goes down a really steep hill. You can go to lookouts or go bushwalking. |
